Kuresoi North has over 1000 boda boda operators, mostly youths who ply various routes to earn their daily bread. This, however does not mean all have legitimately completed driving lessons posing serious risks of offending traffic rules.
According to the Member of Parliament, the choice to target boda boda riders is also to open opportunities to be competent drivers in the fast competitive world that require extra skills.
