NAKURU CEC slams President William Ruto; Says he gave an Empty Promise.

A NAKURU CEC DEMANDS THE PRESIDENT OF THE KSHS 500 MILLION PROMISE.

By Roslyn Kwamboka

Mr. Leonard Bor, a CEC for agriculture in Nakuru County has slapped President William Ruto over what he termed as a fake promise to the people. Speaking at a function at Kiwanja Ndege village in Kamara, Kuresoi North, Mr Bor criticized The President for not honoring the Kshs 500 million he promised early in the year for electricity connectivity in the area.

" Wakati President alikuwa hapa, kuna pesa alisema ni ya stima ya last mile. Tunataka hiyo pesa tuone ikifanya Kazi. Hakuna haja sasa eti kuna sehemu haijamulikwa... " Demanded Mr Bor.

He also accused his area MP for not constructing a single road since being elected while praising the county government for building many roads in the constituency. However there is an evident of the ongoing first ever tarmac road in Kuresoi North constituency courtesy of Ruto's government.

A best performer...

In his address, he alledged that he can not be compared with anyone in terms of delivering to the people as he brings fertilizer and issues Avocados to the farmers across even though he is using bad roads supposedly constructed by KeRRA and not the county government.

Mr. Bor told the residents that the National government is doing nothing to them in terms of development unlike the County government which he serves as the CEC.

Ignorant of the role?

This has raised concerns as to why the CEC has drawn such an accusing arsenal to the President and the MP despite the ongoing electricity connectivity across the constituency while he is serving a government that is align to H.E William Ruto. He has also put himself at a center of scrutiny basing on the fact that he is supposed to play his responsibilities within the County Government and not to exceed to questioning the National Government's operation.

Whose interests is he serving?

However, Bor's sentiments have been understood by the locals to be an opposition mouthpiece to the day's national government while defending his county government because of the job he has.

" He even robs the credit of President's subsidized fertilizer distribution to himself ever." Said Marindany , a Kiprororo farmer.
