On Saturday November 24 Kiptororo Shrine Elders, in their bid to uphold traditional prayers and guidance of the community, discussed and nominated Hon. Liza Chelule  to be a spokeswoman for the Kipsigis community and in completing the circle of the elders when making decisions and rites involving the community. This was agreed by the elders who hold high respect in regard to  the popular and high profile Kiptororo Shrine in Kuresoi North.

Honourable Liza Chelule, Nakuru Woman Representative.

" Ko u en kotap tumin kotugul, ko kaketil boisiek en Kapkorosuni kele nekoto chepyosok tugul en bororiet ko Liza Chelule nemi ak boisiek ak kotilu ngalekab emet nekoto kwonyiik tugul chebo Kipsigis, asi kosulda tumwek tugul ak bandap tai nebo bororiet - Like in any other of our traditional rites, we have,as the elders entrusted for the Shrine, nominated Hon. Liza Chelule, after serious consultation to be from now our mouthpiece on behalf a of all women in our community. To make decisions and guiding us as Kipsigis community, so that our leadership and development agendas will come forth in completion just as in our rites dictating a vital presence of a woman. " Said Makutuny arap Kosgey, one of the shrine elders.

Hon. Liza Chelule who has more than ten years in legislative role in the Kenyan Parliament, is a humble politician and has been to adequately understand her people's background. Despite coming from a minority Kipsigis community in the larger and cosmopolitan Nakuru county, she has managed to cohese and stamp her authority in politics to amass confident in other communities and the majority Kikuyu who gave her their name " Wanjiru". She is currently  considered as the most influential figure in the political horizons shaping  the county.

Hon. Liza Chelule greet to welcome President William Ruto in a past event.

Hon.Chelule has proven to be what Nakuru people need first, - Cohesion.

In the past, communities used to vote in leaders aligned to their ethnic group but Chelule disputed the outdated trend making people in her campaigns to embrace integration beyond ethnic lines. This earned her the seat as Woman Representative for Nakuru in the 12th and 13th Parliament giving her another big name- Mama Cohesion.

Hon. Liza Chelule has been an Icon of cohesion and integration in Nakuru County.

This and maybe other achievements and considerations could have triggered the elders in Kiptororo shrine to award her with the community title.

According to Mr.George, the Shrine elders' secretary, a date will be set for a ceremony and the crowning of Hon. Liza Chelule. He said that it shall be communicated as soon as  vital arrangements are completed.
