A NAKURU CEC DEMANDS THE PRESIDENT OF THE KSHS 500 MILLION PROMISE.  By Roslyn Kwamboka Mr. Leonard Bor, a CEC for agriculture in Nakuru County has slapped President William Ruto over what he termed as a fake promise to the people.   Ruto appoints retired KDF boss Robert Kibochi and former MPs Gumbo, Mishra to State jobs By Benjamin Muriuki, President William Ruto has appointed former Chief of Defence Forces General (Rtd) Robert Kibochi as the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Mwai Kibaki Referral Hospital.        Gen. (Rtd) Robert Kibochi The appointment was announced in a Gazette Notice dated November 22, 2024.   Half century old school becomes an epitome of admiration after MP transforms it. By Kipkemoi Amos Saino (formerly Mindililiet)primary school in Kuresoi North was established in 1975 and founded many scholars who are now in their mid 50' currently serving the nation in various capacities. Despite being the oldest school in the constituency even after the advent of Constituency Development Funds, Saino remained a caricature of structures for all the decades. But in a belt along  Kibaraa village, in Kuresoi North, Nakuru County, its workers are crying of delayed wages causing huge distress to them. It is around 3pm as we approached a house of one Mary*( not her real name) , in a remote village of Kibaraa where our guide tells us that most villagers work to plug tea in the nearby vast farm of the Nyayo Tea Zone Labourers in the NTZ farm in Kuresoi North carry tea for planting on their backs headed for a new planting sites in Kibaraa, Kiptororo We are welcomed by three children between the ages of 3 and 10, all girls, with pitiful eyes looking up on us. By Elkana Sawe Early in the week , Honourable Alfred Mutai, MP for Kuresoi North held talks with the AA driving school in an attempt to partner with them in his bid to ensure riders in his constituency have the requisite skill. The globally recognized driving institution was represented by their fleet manager to Kenya, madam Emily Muma during the discussion with the MP in his office at Bunge Towers Nairobi on Wednesday.
